The Alex

The Alex Youth Health Centre provides medical resources, counselling, basic necessities, education and many other resources to youth. They can help you with physical, social, mental, and emotional matters that affect your health and well-being.

Provides free anonymous counselling to children and youth. You can speak to a counsellor if you need help with just about anything. Counselling is provided over the phone or by web chat at

Provides peer support to youth. You can chat online, text, or call to be connected with another teen/youth who you can chat with about what’s happening. Website

Provides support and advocacy for children and youth when Child and Family Services is involved.
