Dedicated volunteers have been the cornerstone of CLERC, offering valuable skills, insight and knowledge. It is thanks to the efforts of a small group of dedicated volunteers that the organization was first established in 2002.
At this time, CLERC’s volunteer program is at capacity. Please check back with us in the fall for more opportunities.
Some ways volunteers contribute to CLERC include:
BOARD OF DIRECTORS
CLERC’s active Board of Directors not only oversees the governance of the organization but they also act as a working board in support of direct programming. CLERC’s Board of Directors meets one evening a month at CLERC’s office.
CLERC maintains several active committees that help drive the organization forward.
LEGAL RESEARCH SUPPORT OPPORTUNITIES
CLERC is seeking volunteers with legal training to provide research support.
DIRECT SERVICE VOLUNTEER LAWYERS
CLERC is seeking lawyers who are interested in volunteering to represent young people in civil law matters. CLERC provides training and support to volunteer lawyers.
WEBSITE Q & A LAWYER PROGRAM
